June 11, 1955Locomotive 1673 is moved Having been officially taken out of service by the Southern Pacific, the locomotive is moved to the Arizona Pioneers Historical Society for display.  The diamond smokestack used in the movie Oklahoma is still mounted.  The locomotive is in prime condition but is left out in the open for all to climb on.
