The Southern Arizona Transportation Museum will celebrate the new Connie Weinzapfel Railroad Exhibit on Aug 30th, Sat. from 1:00-3:00PM. Mr Weinzapfel was a legendary
railroad engineer known as "Mr. Railroad" by his peers at the Southern Pacific Railroad.

- All Historic Downtown Walking Tours meet in the Hotel Congress
lobby at 8:45am and run until approximately 11am
- NOTE: Bring water and a hat and wear walking shoes - 2 mile walk
total.
- The Cup Cafe at Hotel Congress is hosting "Railroad Breakfasts"
before the tour.
- Armory Park Tours ARE wheelchair accessible; please call for
more information. Warehouse Tours are NOT wheelchair accessible
because of an abundance of stairs.

Depot Tours
All aboard! Visit the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum.
Your tour guide will explain the historic and present day uses of the
former Southern Pacific Depot. History comes alive when you explore
the restored Depot Lobby (circa 1941), the historic Locomotive #1673
and the Museum. Learn how the railroad impacted Tucson since its
arrival in March 1880.
